I have experienced this while working on dresses for my granddaughters. Since there are three of them and the dresses we decide on are similar for each, it ends up being easier to make them on kind of an assembly line.

14 1/2" doll hand smocked dresses
Making a batch of smocked dresses for 14 1/2" dolls like the Wellie Wisher™ and the Hearts for Heart™ dolls has been has been a busy project. It has been somewhat easier to work through the steps of construction for a number of dresses at the same time rather than focusing on just one little dress.
