Little Darling smocked three piece ensemble
Being modeled is an English Smocked three piece ensemble for the Little Darlings doll. I recently acquired a very helpful book by Rosemarie Honker, A Closetful of Doll Clothes.
In it she includes patterns and helpful hints for making clothes for various sized dolls. The under slip in this ensemble is from her pattern. The cute hat is based on a fashion pattern from MHD Designs.

Summer English Smocked dresses
I have been busy with summer sewing for granddaughters. As they get bigger the challenge is to create something using the smocking with an older child look. The patterns and ideas came from Australian Smocking and Embroidery magazines.
