This busy book is focused more on the simple side of activity for each page. Everything movable is attached by a ribbon so pieces cannot be lost. Joseph's coat of many colors is a 'snap on', the baby Jesus in a manager, is a piece fitting into a pocket. Daniel in the lion's den has a movable lion, the ark for Noah is also movable fitting into the waves in various places. The empty tomb and three crosses, is my own design, and has a movable stone revealing the empty grave clothes. One thing I learned watching my little granddaughters use this book is the wiggly eyes are not very desirable because some children really want to pick them off. Even though I attached them with hot glue. I have taken to embroidering the eyes on instead. I did slide a lightweight piece of cardboard in-between the pages to give a harder 'book feel' to this soft book.
